Brand Problem: As a CLE native and huge fan of the Indians I think I can speak for many saying that we miss chief wahoo. Yes it had its extremes but it was a huge part of Cleveland. We are lacking the identifying icon/mark that can be a universal image of our team. The block C is cool but it’s not Cleveland. It’s not ‘95 ‘97 Albert Belle, Omar, Manny, Thome “Cleveland Rocks” Indians.
Brand Solutions: Cleveland is Rough, Industrial, Simple, Passionate. So I came up with a look and a new color scheme that could be really cool to show an homage to our Native American folks we love and cherish. A Feather to identify and keep the wahoo headdress around in spirit. #GoTribe
